2009-10, October Wealmoor, Atherstone-on-Stour Wealmoor has been a long standing customer with 2 other sites in the UK; so when it came to the rebuilding of Atherstone after a fire the customer wanted the same supplier he had previously used. The scenario was very different with this site as the insurance company wanted to replace the existing Nergeco doors. After several negotiations the customer decided to pay the extra costs themselves to ensure they got the preferred product. They ordered 37 high speed roller doors model AR0031S. The customer requested radar activation to all doors to speed up the passage of traffic flow through the doors and minimize fork truckdriver intervention.
2009-10, October Servera, Halmstad, Sweden In hard competition with several well-known door suppliers, DAN-doors won the project for doors to Servera in Halmstad Sweden, after a final decision from Servera, who have heard about our previously successfully projects. The order came from AxFast which are parent company for Servera. As the overall contractor of 151 doors the delivery consisted of 69 nos. roller doors, 12 nos. sliding doors for freezer rooms and 26 hinged doors for freezer rooms, all from our own door program, which is produced in Stilling, Denmark. In addition 28 nos. fire curtains from Fortress Axalus and 14 nos. sliding fire doors from Robust and at last 2 nos. power doors from Hörmann were also included in the delivery. The project consisted of a comprehensive assembly with special demands for the function of fire curtains and roller doors with fire alarms. AxFast led the project with a good spirit and concern for the environment and the safety. The project, which was one of the biggest projects in Sweden, is a development for bigger and more complex challenges in the future.
2009-04, April Steinsland Hatchery, Norway Steinsland Hatchery is a modern chicken hatchery, which produces approx: 40,000 chickens a week.
In this project a wide range of DAN-doors’ products including hinged doors and sliding doors for chill rooms and furthermore polycarbonate swing doors has been delivered.
Because of the big load on the building during the production functionality and quality are prioritized in this project.
2009-03, March Henning Olsen IS, Kristiansand, Norway In this project - DAN-doors vertical doors were fitted. This solutiona was chosen due to minimum space. The doors all function as well as the rest of DAN-doors products. Futhermore 2-leaf doors were fitted - also starting from too little space for the installation.
2009-02, February Nortura AB, Slaughter house, Stavanger, Norway DAN-doors has installed a special solution called telescope doors. These doors fullfill needs such as functionallity and short room. The doors slides across each other and are incredible flexible. Almost no room around them are needed.
2009-01, January Leiv Vidar, Sausage Manufacturing, Hønefoss, Norway For this project - DAN-doors has delivered both standard freezer doors and roller doors for freezer rooms. A solution that gains more and more ground. Moreover roller doors for chill room for smoother traffic in the building has been fitted.
2008-11, November Menigos central store, Strängnäs, Sweden DAN-doors AB, our Swedish subsidiary, has delivered 90 doors for Menigos central store in Strängnäs, Sweden. Menigos central store consists of 27.500 m2 area with workshop and offices.
The plant is built to make more room and to handle increased volume as fast as possible. DAN-doors AB has assembled and installed a wide range of doors: Hinged Doors, Roller Doors, Sliding Doors and Fire Adapted Sliding Doors to obtain the ultimate density- and isolating ability.
The greater part of the doors for chill- and freezer rooms are installed with automatic control devices, for instance controlled by radar.
2008-11, November Hansen Dahl, Bodø, Norway DAN-doors have delivered doors to Bodø Freezer Warehouse in Norway.
150 mm freezer doors were fitted in their freezer rooms for optimum utilizaton.
They chosed a.o. our Roller Door AR0031, as the need fast traffic through different sections through out the day.
2008-10, October Danish Crown - Jönköping, Sweden Our Swedish subsidiary DAN-doors AB has just delivered and fitted 80 doors at the new 8.400 m2 production plant of Danish Crown in Jönköping, Sweden.
The new production plant in Jönköping – the most progressive of its kind in Sweden – is managing carving and packing of meat to Axfood’s Hemköps- and Willy stores in Sweden. DAN-doors has produced, delivered and fitted the 80 doors divided in to: hinged doors, roller doors, sliding doors and fire doors. Danish Crown made big demands on hygiene and density combined with fire safety – of course, DAN-doors have lived up to these demands.
2008-08, August Sørwi A/S, Aalborg, Denmark Sørwi A/S is one of the oldest companies in Aalborg in the field of high quality meat products. The production has been relocated to the industrial area in Aalborg East.
DAN-doors has supplied and fitted overall door solutions. Besides DAN-doors own doors - power doors, special shelters, ramps, etc. has been supplied from Loading Systems. Appxm. doors were fitted in August 2008.
2008-07, July Bacon Processing Factory, Bury St. Edmunds This was a project which required every door type that DAN-doors manufacture. DAN-doors were able to offer a total solution at a competitive price with an agreed scheduled delivery program. The final decision to use our products was made by the customer themselves after visiting several existing sites which showed new and older products which were more than 15 years old. The biggest benefits which most impressed the customer was the ease of maintenance through simple design, but also allowing forgiveness in the event of an impact. The down time and repair costs can be kept to a minimum.
2008-06, June Hörkram, Hasselager, Denmark At Hørkram Schultz Foods new chill- and freezer storeroom in Hasselager Denmark, doors from DAN-doors a-s has been chosen. To secure an optimal insulated exit from their chill- and freezer storeroom when loading and unloading they have selected a solution with our automatic sliding doors. Further more our automatic sliding doors are used for an optimal insulated passage through the freezer storeroom. This also provides maximum insulation.
