DAN-doors a-s develops and manufactures insulated doors for the food industry. The product range includes doors for freezer as well as chill rooms, industrial doors, PVC swing doors, polycarbonate swing doors, rapid roller doors, fire doors, door automatics and sliding rails (DAN-matic).
DAN-doors products are among the best in the world market. The background for this position is that the objective determinedly pursued by the company ever since its foundation in 1983 has been one of manufacturing functional quality products which are offered in combination with a high level of after sales service.
DAN-doors is situated at Industrivej 19, Stilling, DK-8660 Skanderborg, Denmark where the company has a modern production premises of 4,000 square metres and 600 square metres of office space. DAN-doors has two foreign subsidiaries (sales and service) in Germany and Sweden as well as agents in Great Britain and the Netherlands. The company employs a total of 85 people.
Since its foundation in 1983, DAN-doors has gone from strength to strength.
In addition to being a leader in the domestic market, DAN-doors focuses a lot on exports as approximately 50 per cent of the company's production is exported to many parts of the world. DAN-doors doors have so far been installed in slaughterhouses and dairies, in chill and freezer rooms, in companies in the fish industry, in supermarkets, etc. in more than 100 countries around the world.
Throughout its many years of development and manufacture of chill and freezer room doors, DAN-doors has developed an international concept - DAN-matic - with focus on the delivery of know-how and door fittings for the manufacture of chill and freezer room doors. Today, this concept is highly successful in a number of overseas markets, such as the Central- and South America as well as the Middle- and the Far East. DAN-matic is also employed in our joint venture company, Sinodan, which is situated in Guangzhou, China – for the Chinese and Asian market.
DAN-doors has also started cooperating with the Dutch company, Loading Systems, who produces dock levellers, dock shelters, sectional doors and scissor lift tables. |
